Carnivorous Plants

Revenge of the plants! In this BrainPOP movie, Tim and Moby dig into the weird world of carnivorous plants. You’ll learn where these meat-eating marvels live, and how their habitats have shaped their special diets. Tim will teach you about the difference between passive and active trapping techniques. He’ll also show you some of the more interesting kinds of carnivorous plants, including the Venus flytrap, the sundew, and the bladderwort. Animals Lesson Plan: Diversity of Life

In this lesson plan, which is adaptable for grades 3-12, students explore various types of animals and their classification. Students then create a collaborative BrainPOP-based lesson to teach other students about the diversity of life through a selected animal or animal characteristic.
