Boost Achievement with BrainPOP: A New Effectiveness Study

Posted by jglassman on

A recent study on the effectiveness of BrainPOP found that students in schools with BrainPOP subscriptions showed a greater increase in standardized test scores than a matched control group.

BrainPOP’s Data and Analytics team, led by Dr. Kevin Miklasz, looked at results in grades 3-8 in five states (California, Colorado, Florida, New York, and Texas) and three core subjects areas (ELA, Math, and Science). The study meets the ESSA Moderate Evidence of Impact level and indicates that BrainPOP is effective.
