NYC Teachers, join us for another game-based learning design workshop!
Saturday, April 16 from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM, BrainPOP and the Game-Based Learning NYC (GBLNYC) Meetup will be hosting a Game Design Canvas SUPER-Seminar and Design Workshop. Our previous one in December was filled with great ideas, so we’d love to see some more of your brilliance!
We’ll be using Richard Carey’s Game Design Canvas as a prototyping tool and construct a plan for to make an educational game from product design to sales strategies. Everyone will start out by using the canvas to examine a popular game and then brainstorm our own games. After selecting our favorite ideas, we will split off into teams to design the games and formulate development plans. Each team will end the afternoon by presenting its plans to the group and a panel of judges. Hosted by BrainPOP and sponsored by Richard Carey Digital Media, this is yet another event not to miss.
