SXSWedu 2014 – Vote for BrainPOP’s Panel!
Posted by cemignano on
Good news! TWO BrainPOP panels are up for consideration for SXSWedu 2014! “Listen Up! Speak Up! GameUp! A Game Data Discussion” will bring together a host of experts in the field of education, game development, and research to explore the many voices in games for teaching and learning. Its goal? Unpacking the perspectives of parents, teachers, and learners around the potential of educational games. This panel will include our very own Allisyn Levy, as well as Jessica Millstone (The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop), Julie Evans (Project Tomorrow), and Robert Torres (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation).
To land a spot in the 2014 SXSWedu festival, we need your votes! Cast yours: Visit the Panel Picker any time before September 6th, look for both of our sessions – “Designing Learning Games That Don’t Suck” and “Listen Up! Speak Up! GameUp! A Game Data Discussion” – and click the “Thumbs Up” icon that appears to the session names. You’ll need to first create a free SXSW username and password, but it’s easy!
