# Lesson Ideas

In this movie, Annie and Moby learn about fractions, which is a number that show parts of a whole. The denominator, or the number at the bottom of a fraction, tells the total number of parts in the whole. The numerator, or the number at the top of a fraction, tells the number of parts that you have. Watch as Annie and Moby divide food into equal parts to explore halves, thirds, and fourths.
