We’re off to the Lone Star State for this year’s SXSWedu, March 9-12 in Austin. Katya Hott and POPstar Steve Isaacs (Bernards Twp SD) cover Building the EdTech Bridge on the 9th, filling you in on the resource they created to bridge the gap between teachers and ed tech entrepreneurs.
Kari Stubbs is joined by Kecia Ray (Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools), Julie Evans (Project Tomorrow) and Mila Thomas Fuller (NCTE) on March 10th for Paying It Forward: Leveraging Today’s Female Voice. They’ll explore the unique role women play at the nexus of education and technology.
Can Authentic Practice With Games Make SEL Stick?, also taking place on the 10th, was organized by our own Jessica Millstone, Director of Engagement. Lucien Vattell (GameDesk), Mia Doces (Committee for Children) and Sujata Bhatt (Incubator School) discuss the ways games can help build social-emotional learning skills.
We hope to see you there!
