Share Your Voice During a Birds-of-a-Feather Session at ISTE 2014!
Posted by cemignano on
ISTE is asking for your help in planning their birds-of-a-feather sessions at the 2014 conference. Unlike the traditional conference presentations, these sessions give attendees the opportunity to engage in discussions about topics of interest that are relevant to the conference’s themes.
The possibilities are endless and submitting your ideas is easy! Simply add your ideas to the comments section of the Birds of a Feather Session Planning page by March 27. You’ll need to include your idea topic or meeting purpose, a brief description, and your name and affiliation. Be sure to include your email address if you’re interested in leading the proposed discussion or meeting.
Once you’ve submitted your ideas, the Birds group will utilize their page in working to identify prospective organizers/moderators and topics, identify collaborations between people with similar topics in mind, gauge audience interest in the topics, and plan and develop the content (outline scope of the topic, guiding questions, useful resources, etc). They’ll also post results and ongoing information on the topics for a time following the conference so be sure to check the page often.
