Connected Educator Month

The U.S. Department of Education’s Connected Educators initiative has made October 2013 the second annual Connected Educator Month! Throughout the month, there will be coordinated opportunities to participate in events and activities in dozens of online locations to develop skills and enhance one’s personal learning network.
Tomorrow, Connected Educator Month kicks off in style with a series of all-star highly interactive panels discussing key CEM themes and education issues such as connected leadership, collaboration, innovating STEM & literacy, informal PD, personalized learning, and 21st century classroom management, plus a special event with Secretary Duncan, an opening gala, and a CEM town hall.
