More Election-Themed Games on GameUp

With Election Day right around the corner, GameUp offers a slew of  election-themed titles! Our friends from Second Avenue Learning and the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at Brookings join us for a look at their relevant educational games and supporting resources. Kerry Searle Grannis (Brookings) will introduce teachers to their game, The Fiscal Ship. She’ll discuss ideas for using it to enhance lessons on civics and American government, economics, and the presidential election. Victoria VanVoorhis (Second Avenue Learning) will guide us in exploring Voters Ed, an interactive tool to help students better understand the presidential election process. You’ll leave this webinar armed with ideas for further engaging your students in throughout the rest of election season.
