Before the Movie:

Have you ever had a virus? Describe how felt.? (Tap prior knowledge)

How do you think you caught the last virus you had? (Identify cause/effect)

During the Movie (Pause Points):

Stop at the following times in the movie and ask questions or prompt a discussion to keep students focused and to assess their understanding before moving on:

Timecode 0:34: Why does Tim say the human body is a great home for viruses? (Make inferences)

Timecode 1:17: What happens after a virus attaches itself to a cell? (Identify sequence of events)

Timecode 2:30: How can viruses spread? How can they spread from animals to people? (Recall information)
