Use these questions to help students reflect on their learning around art and music topics (both during and after the Time Zone X game) and expand the discussion to how game play relates to real life:

  • What strategies did you use when deciding where to place each event?
  • How did you decide where to place the event when your first guess was incorrect?
  • Which events were the most difficult to place? Why?
  • Were there any moments in game play that were confusing to you? How did you figure them out?
  • If you could create an additional scientific event to include in the game, what would it be, and where on the timeline would it be placed?
