1.2.1 Make-a-Map Ideas
- Write the question “What is Ben doing?” at the top or center of the page. Ask students to answer the question using images, text boxes, or movie clips.
- Show an image, sentence, or movie clip to answer the following three questions. What is Ben doing? What is Moby doing? What are Ed and Nikki doing?
- Using the grammar terms from the image bank (am, is, are, ing), ask students to build a chart explaining how to make the present progressive.
