These family and homeschool activities are designed to complement the Taking Photos topic on BrainPOP Jr.
Re-creation
Look through photographs together on the Internet, in the library, or in your personal album or collection. Have your child pick a few favorites and then challenge him or her to re-create the photo! This is a good opportunity to discuss framing and experiment with different angles to match the ones in the photo.
Travel Guide
Together, make a travel guide for your town, neighborhood, or even your home. Have your child photograph different points of interest and together write copy that goes long with each picture. You may want to look at a few travel guides with your child to get ideas.
