BrainPOP, a leading creator of digital educational content including animated movies, learning games, interactive quizzes, and activities like concept mapping, seeks a Junior Web Production Designer. In this role, you will work across teams to create, upload, and maintain a breadth of digital assets. This is a full-time position on site at our New York City headquarters, where you’ll join an energetic and passionate group in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Create a variety of digital assets for games, interfaces, and other content, both from scratch and by re-purposing existing illustrations and templates
  • Work with Editorial and Production teams to help engender the educational value of the work
  • Manage and upload large collections of digital assets using our content management system
  • Help maintain the company sites by publishing content, creating content groupings, managing updates. etc.
  • Maintain an orderly library of digital assets with the rest of the team

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Expertise in a variety of production and content creation tools (Flash, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.)
  • Persistent attention to detail across multiple large projects and sometimes repetitive tasks
  • Illustration and design skills to generate assets both composited and original
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience in educational design
  • HTML & CSS skills
