Educator Resources for Concentration
In Concentration, students explore how volume, amount of solute, and the color of a solution relate to its concentration. Students predict how the concentration of a solution will change if water, solute, or solution is added or removed. Students design and test procedures to create a solution of a given concentration and to change a solution from one concentration to another. Students identify when a solution is saturated and predict how concentration will change for any action or combination of actions where water or solute change.
