Remembering September 11th

The anniversary of September 11 may raise difficult and challenging questions from children. BrainPOP’s September 11 movie is intended to support educators and parents who want to engage in a discussion about this sensitive topic.
We suggest previewing the movie in advance and allowing time for discussion before, during, and after the movie (see Discussion Prompts and Pause Points). Some kids may want to share how they feel out loud or write in a journal. Others may not feel comfortable sharing their emotions and that’s okay, too.
