June is Pride Month, and this year marks the 50-year anniversary of the Stonewall riots—a series of confrontations between police and gay rights activists outside New York City’s Stonewall Inn that catalyzed the LGBTQ rights movement in the United States.
BrainPOP celebrates the progress of the LGBTQ community while recognizing that there is still work to be done to achieve full equality.

We understand the profound significance of speaking to kids, at eye level, about topics that are sometimes challenging to discuss, and supporting the adults in their lives in doing so, too.
