New on GameUp – Mission US: For Crown or Colony?

We’re proud to announce the addition of For Crown or Colony? to our collection of Mission US games — simulations that immerse students in U.S. history through interactive role-playing experiences.
In this mission, “For Crown or Colony?,” students experience the growing tension between the colonists and the British just before the American Revolution.
Students take on role of Nathaniel Wheeler, a printer’s apprentice in 1770 Boston. They encounter both Patriots and Loyalists, and when rising tensions result in the Boston Massacre, students must choose where their loyalties lie.
The game is divided into five parts, with a prologue offering background information and an epilogue extending the story of Nathaniel into the American Revolution.
