What’s New at BrainPOP: January Recap

2018 is off to a busy start at BrainPOP, from updated movies to a brand new look for BrainPOP ELL and much more!


New Look!
BrainPOP ELL has a fresh new look!  Developed to be flexible for all students, the new BrainPOP ELL features the following enhancements:

  • New Name: BrainPOP ELL
    English Language Learners (ELL) is the more universally accepted term for English Learners in K-12 setting.
  • New Look & Feel
    A simpler, cleaner, and more colorful design makes it easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.
  • Mobile Access
    The site is now easy to use on all devices and touchscreen-friendly!
  • New Features & Enhancements
    Word Play is a new interactive vocabulary feature and the Content Index is an enhancement that highlights the depth and richness of the new site

DNA Update

It revs up your metabolism and gives you a burst of energy… no wonder caffeine is the most popular stimulant in the world! Join Moby and Tim as they learn more about the energy-boosting substance. But, don’t get addicted!


Quandary Update
The popular critical-thinking game, Quandary, looks, sounds, and feels the same but is now an HTML5 game which means you can play it on the many mobile devices that support HTML5. Plus, we’ve added the SnapThought tool back to the game, so now you can take a snapshot and share your thinking about the decisions you make.
