A Site Status Update

Some of our users have been experiencing short periods of site slowness and/or having trouble logging into their accounts, primarily between 1 and 2 pm ET. We wanted to take a minute to fill you in on what’s happening, reassure you, and of course, say thanks for your patience along the way.
We’ve been facing a series of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks. You can read more about what that means here, but essentially, our sites have been intentionally inundated with traffic heavy enough to interrupt their normal operation. This type of attack is intended solely to cause inconvenience.
Our team is working hard to fully remedy the situation and safeguard against future attacks. While adding a new layer of protection as part of that process, we encountered a few glitches – one of which may have caused brief log-in difficulties.
The sites are currently up and running, but we continue to monitor their status. We know how frustrating any service interruption can be, and we sincerely apologize. Updates will be provided as relevant information comes along.
