You’re (Re)invited to a Game Play Great Talks
Posted by SM Bruner on
Our original January event has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. Join us at BrainPOP headquarters on Thursday, February 26th, from 6:30-8:30 pm as Jessica Millstone shares how gaming can impact social change!
Facing History and Ourselves in New York will be co-hosting Jessica for a conversation on how gaming can impact social change as part of its Great Talks series. The series gathers dynamic New Yorkers for compelling conversations about complicated issues. Jessica Millstone is our Director of Engagement here at BrainPOP, where she works on bridging games-based learning initiatives between BrainPOP and our many game partners.
Prior to joining BrainPOP, Jessica was the inaugural education fellow on the Games & Learning Publishing Council at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, a research and innovation lab at Sesame Workshop, where she investigated the theory and practice of using digital games in the elementary and middle school classroom.
This event is free, but you must register in advance. You can learn more about the topic or reserve your spot here!
