Celebrate Computer Science Education Week by working an “Hour of Code” into your schoolday! Running, December 8-14, CSEdWeek aims to highlight the importance of computer science, which 90 percent of schools don’t teach. Learn more though watching our archived Hour of Code webinar that we hosted in November with our friends code.org, Tynker, Code Monkey, and Turtle Academy. Relevant BrainPOP topics include the brand-new Logic Gates (free through December 12th) as well as Computer Programming, Ada Lovelace, and Computer History. For additional resources, turn to GameUp, where you’ll find coding games like CodeMonkey’s Real Coding; Tynker’s 15-Block Challenge, Lost in Space, Puppy Adventure, and Sketch Racer; and Turtle Academy‘s eponymous title.
