Now is your opportunity to spread the word about the innovative work you’re doing in the upcoming NMC Horizon Report: 2014 K-12 Edition! This annual report is a collaborative effort between the NMC and the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) and focuses on key trends, challenges and emerging technologies in education. The call for entries from educators seeking inclusion in the next edition is officially open!
With the goal of helping readers understand the potential impact of technology on education in mind, the Horizon K12 board is interested in learning about any kind of pilot programs or innovative projects happening at your school. (Perhaps you and your colleagues have found an innovative way to integrate BrainPOP or GameUp!) This year’s report will focus on 18 areas including: rethinking how schools work, creating authentic learning opportunities, BYOD, games and gamification, and more. To learn about all 18 focus areas, check out the project’s official preview.
