Digital Learning Day!

Digital Learning Day is a national campaign to spotlight the effective use of technology in America’s classrooms. Whether it’s today, tomorrow, or next month, it’s important to take an opportunity to build awareness about the potential of the technology available in your schools. From single-computer classrooms to 1:1 iPad programs, student interaction with technology can be a powerful experience.
Whether you’re just starting to explore the use of technology or you consider yourself an expert, we’re committed in supporting our teachers in their quest to incorporate the use of digital technology in their classrooms. Visit our weekly webinars and archives where we share tips and tricks for utilizing a variety of tech tools with your students. Additionally, our blog often features POPstar educators who are doing exciting things with technology. Don’t miss their guest posts where you can pick up some ideas to bring technology into your own lessons.
DigitalLearningDay.org provides teachers with all tech set-ups additional lessons and ideas for celebrating this event with their students. Check out their Tip of the Day to find links to digital tools, resources, videos and exciting events happening on Digital Learning Day. Their Tools for Everyone section features a number of free resources available to all teachers to enhance their students’ experience with technology. Additionally, they’ve included a section for getting started that includes thoughtful hour long, day long, and year long activities.
