BrainPOP is on the road and we’re headed to FETC and TCEA!
If you’re planning to attend FETC in Orlando or TCEA in Austin, be sure to stop by the BrainPOP booth! We’ll be demoing our full range of features including My BrainPOP; the Mixer; GameUp; our mobile learning apps; BrainPOP ESL; teacher resources, and much more. A number of our GameUp partners will be joining us to share their incredible education games so don’t miss this opportunity to talk to the developers. BrainPOP will also be at the Microsoft booth for both conferences to share our Featured Movie app for Windows 8 – and raffle off some classroom subscriptions.
BrainPOP at FETC
On January 30th, our very own Allisyn Levy, Vice President of GameUp, and Brian Alspach (E-Line Media), Naomi Greenfield (FableVision Studios), and Scot Osterweil (MIT Education Arcade) will host Game-Based Learning: Serious Fun. Additionally, Allisyn will join Jessica Millstone (Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop) later that day to present Playful Assessment With Digital Games.
We’ll also be co-hosting a free, pre-conference session with FETC and Learning Games Network on Tuesday, January 29 from 9 am-4 pm. This session, Playful Learning @FETC: Bringing Game-Based Learning to Your Classroom, will give you six hours of CEU credits while providing you with the opportunity to discuss games in education with fellow educators from around the country. Space is limited, so register today!
On February 3rd, our District Relations Manager for Texas, Arturo Guajardo, will be presenting at the TCEA Google Academy pre-conference session. He’ll be covering the seamless integration of BrainPOP and Google Apps for Education. To register for the Google Academy, visit TCEA’s website.
We’ll be adding to the TCEA events, so be sure to check our schedule for any updates!
BrainPOP will be attending additional conferences throughout the winter and spring. Visit our conference page to find out if we’ll be heading to a city near you!
