Nominate an #EduWinner for the #EduWin Awards

Posted by cemignano on

The #EduWin movement recognizes the amazing things happening in education and now is your opportunity to nominate your favorite #EduWinner for an award. Educators, students, citizens, parents, and proprietors can all be nominated, but you can’t vote for yourself. Submissions will be judged based on several criteria, including:

  • the support of academic achievement

  • a positive impact on education

  • a demonstration of innovation and risk-taking that moves education forward

  • a conscious effort to promote education online, in their community, or in a public way

  • the inclusion of evidence to support the nomination such as a picture or video of the nominee, or a blog post, project, or artifact they created

  • a social vote

Need some ideas? By searching the EduWin hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+, you’ll find some great examples of the amazing things educators are doing all over the world. Be sure to visit the #EduWin search page where you’ll quickly find a compilation of EduWin hashtags from several social networks.

Monthly winners will be announced on the 5th of the following month (October winner on November 5th, November winner on December 5th, etc.) and will then be considered to present at the Annual CUE Conference in Palm Springs, CA to share how to take education forward.
