BrainPOP’s Approach to the Common Core State Standards

Since the announcement of the Common Core Standard initiative, the entire BrainPOP staff has worked hard to make appropriate adjustments. Here at BrainPOP Educators, we have carefully considered how our movies, games and lesson plan content aligns with the standards and how features, such as the Related Reading, quizzes and Mixer, can be used creatively to meet the new demands.  The BrainPOP, BrainPOP Jr, BrainPOP ELL and GameUp production teams have made adjustments, too: creating new movies, games and interactive features from the ground up with the Common Core in mind.
