3 ways to Use the BrainPOP Curriculum Calendar

Posted by SM Bruner on

Bookmark our events page so you can easily see how BrainPOP can be used to support your teaching each month! Here are three useful ideas for using the curriculum calendar:

1) See which webinars fit your interests and schedule. If you’ve been wanting to participate in one of our free online web seminars but just haven’t had time to make that happen, plan ahead via the curriculum calendar. You can see the dates and times for each upcoming webinar (listed in green for Professional Development). Mouse over the event to learn more about it, or click through to register. You can also view previously recorded webinars by looking through past months on the calendar.

2) Find BrainPOP topics that support current and historical events. The curriculum calendar marks important dates in history and provides links to related BrainPOP movies so you can quickly access the resources you need. Mouse over each movie topic to see the related historical date and event. The calendar also shows relevant movie topics for current happenings and holidays.

3) Check out conferences where you can visit the BrainPOP booth for live demos and more. Educational content events are marked in gray on the calendar. If there’s a conference you plan to attend or that’s happening near you, mark your own calendar as a reminder to stop by the BrainPOP booth in the exhibit hall. You can ask questions, see what’s new on the site, participate in interactive demos, and pick up some cool BrainPOP swag.
