Kari Stubbs: On Board!

We are thrilled to report that our Kari Stubbs, PhD, VP of 21st Century Learning, has been elected to the board of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)! She’ll be “inaugurated” officially at the ISTE conference next month in Philadelphia – stop by our booth and congratulate her in person!  This election is a tremendous and well-deserved honor for Kari, who has spent her whole career inspiring new ways to infuse teaching with technology. BrainPOP is proud to be represented within ISTE by an educator like her – one whose passion, creativity and dedication are truly unparalleled.

Kari will take office with six other new ISTE board members: Ric Wiltse (Executive Director, Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning); Kecia Ray (Executive Director of Learning Technologies, Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools); Tony Brandenburg (Manager, Professional Development, Victorian Institute of Teaching and President and Fellow, Australia Council for Computers in Education); Julie Lindsay (E-Learning Coordinator, Beijing International School); and John Keller (Director of Learning Technologies, Indiana Department of Education).

We celebrate Kari and all the new ISTE board members!
