In Commemoration

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a month since Naomi Kadar’s passing. While we’ve struggled with our grief, we’ve been comforted by the huge outpouring of support from the BrainPOP community. Thank you for all of your heartfelt messages and comforting words.

After Naomi’s passing, we came together to discuss different ways to honor her memory. We thought one of the best ways we could honor Naomi would be to turn our loss into something that might comfort others who are going through the grieving process. BrainPOP receives thousands of emails from kids every week and many of their letters touch us deeply. Some of the hardest ones to answer have been from children who have lost a loved one. Other children want to know how to help a friend dealing with grief or how to cope after losing a beloved family pet.

Naomi was the type of person who continually reached out to others to provide comfort. We know that she would appreciate a BrainPOP topic on Mourning that might be able to help children with the grieving process. In our saddest moments this past month, this idea has been a ray of light.

We collaborated with our offices around the world to produce the Mourning topic in SpanishFrench, Mandarin, British English, American English, and Hebrew in time for the 30-day memorial. We knew Naomi would want to help as many children as possible, all around the globe.

Thank you again for your love and support.
